NEW YORK, December 5, 2005 — The Light Reading Telecom Investment Conference, to be held on December 14 at the Pierre Hotel in New York City, will bring together the industry's leading service providers and finance executives for an interactive conference on the game-changing technologies that are sweeping through the communications market.

The keynote speaker – Stuart Elby, Vice President of Network Architecture & Enterprise Technology at Verizon – will discuss Verizon's moves into new services such as video and fiber-to-the-home, and how the service provider will use new telecom technology to deploy these services.
