ITF Tests Corvis

MONTREAL -- ITF Optical Technologies Inc., a worldwide supplier of state-of-the-art photonic components for next-generation optical networks, announced that it was awarded a major qualification contract by Corvis Corporation. Through this study, ITF will test optical fiber's response to high-power in conjunction with mechanical stresses. Corvis Corporation has selected ITF to conduct experiments that will validate fiber optic GR-20 certification under particular operating conditions. The results of the experiments are proprietary to Corvis.
