NEWBURGH, N.Y. -- Global Lightwave Holdings Inc. (Global Lightwave(R)), a privately held company, Wednesday announced that it is seeking joint-build partners for its planned fiber optic telecommunications infrastructure to be deployed along the northeast corridor of the United States. Global Lightwave's projected network will involve interconnections with these cities: Boston, Providence, Hartford, Poughkeepsie, White Plains, New York City, Princeton, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington, D.C., according to Bruce M. Stern, general counsel for the company.

"Global Lightwave already is in the enviable position of having secured key strategic rights-of-way needed for the network rollout and is near completion of the design and engineering work necessary for successful deployment," Stern said.

Those parties interested in partnering with Global Lightwave should contact Phil Erard of Bentley Associates L.P. 101 Park Avenue, 21st Floor, New York, N.Y. 10178; Phone: 212/972-8700 ext. 2639, or email [email protected]. Bentley Associates are Global Lightwave's investment bankers handling the prospective transaction.
