Lenders pull the plug on General Datacom, a rather boring equipment manufacturer

General DataComm Industries, Inc. (GDII) announced that it received notice from its primary lenders that such lenders would not commit to make further advances to the Company.

The Company does not have another source of capital available to fund its operations. Accordingly, the Company and its domestic subsidiaries have filed voluntary petitions for relief pursuant to Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code (11U.S.CS101 et seq.) in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
