Italtel Names Russian Partner

Italtel and Russian system integrator AMT-Group sign partnership to promote NGN offerings based on Italtel's i-MSS multiservice platform

MOSCOW -- Italtel, solution provider of NGN (Next - Generation Network) networks, and AMT-Group, Russian system integrator, announce that they signed a partnership agreement for the joint promotion, realization and support of NGN solutions based on Italtel i-MSS multiservice platform. Italtel has been working successfully for many years on the Russian market adopting a direct sale model. With this agreement, the company starts to work in Russia also on a partnership model in order to enlarge its presence on the market. AMT-Group is the first among Russian system integrators to become Italtel partner.

The NGN solutions, based on i-MSS (Italtel Multi Service Solutions) platform, will allow Telecom Operators and Large Enterprises to offer Class 4 and Class 5 solutions that support multimedia convergent Next - Generation Services (NGS) such as Voice transfer, Data and Video over IP, Unified Messaging.

"For companies like Italtel, with a proven technical and commercial leadership, the partnership model is the best way to be successful in a diversified market like the Russian one with over 1,500 Tier 2 and Tier 3 telephone operators currently in operation,” said Antonio Cassese, EVP Sales Operations International Markets, Italtel. “The agreement with AMT is the cornerstone of this approach and will increase our traction towards alternative Service Providers and Large Enterprises of Russian Federation and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries. We will leverage on such experience to reinforce our long lasting successful presence in the Russian Federation market."
