Tdsoft Buys Rights to Cisco Gear

Purchases intellectual property for the Cisco 8110 carrier-class ATM broadband access product line

HERZILYA, Israel -- Tdsoft, a leading provider of Voice over Next Generation Access solutions, today announced the signing of an Assets Purchase Agreement whereby Tdsoft acquires from Cisco Systems, Inc. the Intellectual properties and all related rights of the 8110 Broadband Access concentrator, formerly HyNEX HUNT 7100. Financial terms of the purchase were not disclosed. This acquisition of the intellectual property strengthens Tdsoft's worldwide strategy to offer service providers the ability to deploy integrated data, voice and video services over Next Generation Access (NGA) networks and utilize existing infrastructure to generate more revenues. The purchase of the intellectual properties will include a joint effort between Tdsoft and Cisco to ensure smooth transition of the 8110 to Tdsoft's products portfolio so every customer that wishes to buy the 8110 can now buy it from Tdsoft. As part of Tdsoft's support for the new product line, the company will continue the manufacturing, sales, support and future development of the product.Tdsoft Ltd. Cisco Systems Inc.
