LAS VEGAS -- IPv6 Summit, Inc., a company dedicated to providing services and products for the New Internet (also known as Internet Protocol version 6 or IPv6), today announced the latest addition to the "New Internet Consumer Electronics" keynote line-up, Michimasa Arimaki, Director of the Panasonic Research and Development Corporation of North America. Arimaki will discuss IPv6 applications such as Panasonic's new HD-PLC chip which provides broadband connectivity with electric outlets between wide ranges of electronic products by using the already active Internet Protocol (IP). Arimaki will also discuss wireless IPv6 enabled video cameras which are utilized for security and "always on" capabilities.

This special one day track will focus primarily on the importance of IPv6-enabled consumer devices including high-quality Television-over-Internet, IP-enabled cell phones, homes of the future with power-line high-speed data and mobile take-it-with-you access, and cooperative networked A/V systems.
