Huawei expands its next generation network offering with the launch of a unified communication product

XIAN, China -- Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.(Huawei), a leader in providing next generation telecommunications network solutions for operators around the world, launched a Unified Communication (UC) solution at the new Service Experience Center during a recent International Network Transformation Forum.

At the two-day event held in Xi’an from more than 60 operator delegates and experts from nearly twenty countries shared their insights on Next Gerneration Networks (NGN) and network developments and visited the New Service Experience Center opened by Shaanxi Telecom where they experienced the voice/data NGN services in action.

Huawei’s UC solution is part of the company’s Next Generation Network (NGN) portfolio and is an integrated and intelligent service combined with Instant Message, Presence, Unified Message and video communication that make people’s communication more convenient and efficient especially for office application. Each terminal user of the UC solution has a unified number and can use numerous functions such as; Click to Dial, Intelligent Call Routing, Call Management and Web self-help management to enjoy brand-new service experience.

The New Service Experience Center shows the capacity of Shaanxi Telecom in providing network transformation that brings personalized value added service to consumers. Visitors to the New Service Experience Center, can experience integrated services including IPTV, UC, CRBT, and Digital Home to get an understanding of NGN deployments in real-life scenarios.
