KANSAS CITY, Mo. –- AT&T has won a multimillion-dollar contract with Helzberg Diamonds to design an integrated networking solution that links the jeweler’s more than 250 retail stores nationwide.

By implementing high-speed DSL and local private line access to AT&T’s Frame Relay network, Helzberg can offer a range of new applications to its retail stores, including intranet access, training, gift cards, high-speed Web access, real-time inventory information, e-mail and back-office support.

The contract expands a relationship under which AT&T provides Helzberg with local and long-distance services.

“The network will help us deliver on our service and value promise to our customers,” said Orlando “Butch” Jagoda, Helzberg senior vice president. “Our company is passionate about customer service, and so is AT&T.”
