Cauldron Solutions names CTO and VP, product development

NEW YORK -- Cauldron Solutions, the leading provider of technology solutions for the distribution and transactions of all on-demand content today announced the appointment of two seasoned executives to senior management positions. Bhavan Shah was named the company’s chief technology officer and Dennis Manu has joined as vice president of product development.

Cauldron addresses the critical need for on-demand digital content management by providing software that enables the easy administering of complex procedures involved in the production, distribution and transaction of digital processes and services. The company will leverage Shah and Manu’s extensive professional experience as it strives to provide customers with the capabilities to manage the complete range of business processes involved in delivering compelling media experiences to end users.

As Chief Technology Officer at Cauldron, Bhavan Shah is tasked with acting as the technology leader for the management team, helping to guide and focus the Company's vision on the innovation necessary to achieve corporate goals. Bhavan has more than 14 years of hands-on technology development experience in various areas of computing. Prior to joining Cauldron, Bhavan spent five years at Wavexpress where as the CTO he was responsible for the company’s technology strategy, architecture, product planning and development, technical management, intellectual property, out-sourcing and IT operations. He previously spent four years as Chief Software Architect at Toshiba America Consumer Products working on interactive digital television. Prior to Toshiba, he worked at Intel and Indian Space Research Organization. Bhavan earned a Master of Science in computer engineering from the University of Arizona.

Dennis Manu joins Cauldron as vice president of product development where he is tasked with driving the company’s forward-looking product management strategy. Dennis comes to Cauldron from Sony Corporation where as a senior technology director he led a strategic technology product team charged with conceptualizing, designing and managing a technology platform strategy that became the bedrock for product development efforts of Sony’s digital and online service businesses. Dennis’ background also includes his positions as a senior technologist at Modem Media and American Management Systems. Dennis earned a BS in economics at the University of Ibadan and a MS in computer methodology at Baruch College.
