BT Picks Nexus

ZURICH and LONDON -- Nexus Telecom has won a large, six-year contract to supply BT with NexusHORIZON, a comprehensive performance management solution.

The new deployment will include the newest feature of NexusHORIZON: automated Service Level Verification (SLV), a rules-based threshold detection facility which automatically informs an operations centre when key performance indicators reach critical thresholds.

Iain McCallum, NMS technical design authority, BT Global Services, said: “We opted for the NexusHORIZON because it provides an excellent performance management solution for our Nortel MSS networks. It will help us guarantee the highest level of service assurance to one of our key customers”.
