DOPC is the leading ISP in West Africa and is deploying in the 2.3 GHz band with plans to roll out services in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt to cover the cities from end to end. The service will entail customized Internet and intranet plans for the Banking sector, Corporate, Oil & Gas, Educational institutes, Government sector, etc. It will offer excellent Internet solutions for the Home & Small Medium Enterprise (SME) segment as well.

"Our goal is to provide broadband wireless Internet and intranet services to the principal cities of Nigeria -- Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt. We expect to have over 15,000 users in 2007 and as we move into 802.16e WiMAX, we expect mobility to change the face of broadband services and mobile telephony. We are rolling out a state of the art platform with pre-paid and post paid services, backed with a full 24x7/ 365 help desk. We are the first company in Nigeria to launch this platform in the 2.3 GHz frequency. The 2.3 GHz frequency has vast advantages over other frequencies and customers will soon realize this once the platform is launched," said Munish Sharma, Managing Director of DOPC.

"Direct On PC is our largest customer in West Africa and the only company bringing personal broadband to multiple cities in Nigeria," said Roger Dorf, Navini's President and CEO. "Mobile WiMAX is the right technology at the right time to deliver personal broadband for both consumers and business users."
