Core Networks adds John Glass as vice president of marketing and business development

HALIFAX, Nova Scotia -- Core Networks, a global leader in cable OSS solutions, today announced the addition of John Glass to the executive team. In his role as vice president of Marketing and Business Development, Glass will work from the California headquarters and report directly to Craig Soderquist, Core’s president and CEO.“Having worked with John in the past, I’m very familiar with his strong background and exceptional skills in both marketing and business development,” said Craig Soderquist, Core’s president and CEO. “His experience and expertise will assist us in maximizing the worldwide market traction we currently enjoy, and further develop and add to the partnerships necessary to gain even greater momentum in the cable OSS market.”Glass joins Core Networks after 20 years of senior executive positions, notably as vice president/general manager for business units with Motorola Broadband (formerly General Instrument) and Tektronix, and most recently as vice president of business development and general manager for Texas operations with startup Taqua Systems. Glass holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business and an MBA. He is the most recent in a series of senior hires since Soderquist assumed the Core Networks reins in August 2002.Core Networks Inc.
