Sorrento Signs Up Germans

All subsidiaries and affiliates of Deutsche Telekom will now have access to Sorrento's products

SAN DIEGO -- Sorrento Networks (Nasdaq:FIBR), a leading supplier of end-to-end, intelligent optical networking solutions for metro and regional applications, today announced that it has entered into an agreement with Deutsche Telekom AG (NYSE:DT), the incumbent telecommunications carrier for Germany, whereby all subsidiaries and affiliates of Deutsche Telekom will now have access to Sorrento's family of optical transport, access and network management products. To date, Deutsche Telekom has deployed Sorrento's optical solution in the metro networks of many of its largest customers in Germany, as well as in its internal data network. Manfred Seehagen, managing director of Sorrento Networks Germany, said, "The new agreement makes Sorrento's solution available to every entity within Deutsche Telekom's worldwide corporate structure.
