BTN Access has merged with the PCCW International Commercial Group

HERNDON, Va. -- BTN Access, Inc., a leading global IP telephony provider today announced that it has merged with the PCCW International Commercial Group. Prior to the integration Btnaccess was a wholly owned subsidiary of PCCW Limited (NYSE: PCW - News) and a leader in business class voice and data solutions, including Hosted PBX and MPLS VPN, with a large customer base including carriers, service providers and enterprises. The newly formed PCCW Global will immediately begin servicing existing customers and will be offering an expanded network and product suite to enterprise and wholesale customers around the world.
The new business unit will maintain its corporate headquarters in Hong Kong and Herndon, VA. In addition to the US and Hong Kong locations, offices will be maintained throughout Europe, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa.
The PCCW Global management team will by headed by Dan Lovatt as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and regional Managing business heads which will include Patrick Hannon, Americas; Marc Halbfinger, EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and Stephen Pang, Asia Pacific.
"Merging the best of Btnaccess and PCCW International, along with the additional resources that we're investing in the combined company, will allow PCCW Global to offer a wider range of services and increased network reach throughout the world," said Dan Lovatt, PCCW Global CEO.
