HORSHAM, Pa. -- Motorola, Inc. (NYSE:MOT) today announced that the Motorola BSR 2000 has received DOCSIS(R) 2.0 and 1.1 qualification by CableLabs(R) in the recently completed Certification Wave 42.
The CableLabs(R) Certified(TM) Cable Modem project, also known as DOCSIS(R) (Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification), defines interface requirements for cable modems involved in high-speed data distribution over cable television system networks.
The Broadband Services Router 2000 (BSR 2000) joins a growing family of Motorola products that are qualified for interoperability with the DOCSIS specifications, including the BSR 64000 CMTS/edge router.
