ORLANDO, Fla. -- Harmonic Inc. (Nasdaq:HLIT) today announced that Cox Communications, Inc. (NYSE:COX) has selected a suite of Harmonic fiber optic solutions to support multiple system upgrades throughout Oklahoma and Kansas. The on-going plant rebuilds will serve over 800,000 subscribers once completed, and will include Cox's first rollout of a DWDM architecture. Harmonic's PWRBlazer Scaleable nodes, return path receivers, METROLink DWDM, and PWRLink 1310 transmission platforms will enable Cox to deploy a variety of next-generation broadband services.
