As part of the alliance, ADC's Singl.eView(TM) software will be included in PwC Consulting's New World Networks (NWN) solution aimed at wireline and wireless communication service providers. PwC Consulting has customized and implemented ADC's Singl.eView to develop an advanced balance and payment management solution for the NWN solution, which provides a real-time view of customers' balances using different payment (pre-, post- or any-pay) methods within a single customer's account. "The introduction of next generation wireless and broadband services is causing the service provider industry to shift many of its business processes and take a new approach to its Business Support System (BSS) and Operations Support System (OSS)," said Venecia Abe, industry analyst for Gartner, a technology-industry research firm.
