Orange Romania selects Bytemobile for network optimization

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. -- Bytemobile, Inc., the global leader in services optimization solutions for mobile data networks, today announced the successful deployment of Bytemobile's Optimization Services Node (OSN) 3.1 in the network of Orange Romania. This is the largest wireless network in Romania, serving approximately 8 million subscribers through 3G service to 20 cities and EDGE (2.5G) coverage nationwide. The Bytemobile optimization solution accelerates data traffic by 3x-7x for both 3G and EDGE Internet access by laptop and desktop subscribers on the Orange network.
