SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Sanmina-SCI Corporation (Nasdaq: SANM), a leading electronics contract manufacturer, and Umachines, Inc., a developer of MEMS optical networking modules, announced today they have entered into a Technology Licensing and Manufacturing Services Agreement. Under the terms of this strategic partnership, Umachines will license to Sanmina-SCI certain technology for building quality MEMS and other optical networking modules. Sanmina-SCI will provide engineering and contract manufacturing support for Umachines' full line of optical switches, variable optical attenuators and other optical networking modules.
