Former Alcatel-Lucent man appointed EVP, operations services & transformation

PARIS -- Technicolor (Euronext Paris: TCH) announces the appointment of Michel Rahier as Executive Vice President, Operations Services & Transformation. Michel Rahier is also a member of the Executive Committee.
This new position has been established to ensure a strong focus on operational performance in order to achieve sustainable and profitable growth, a key objective for Technicolor.
Michel Rahier, 58, was most recently Executive Vice-President Operations and member of the Management Committee at Alcatel-Lucent.
Prior to this, he was President of the Fixed Communications Group at Alcatel and Member of the Executive Committee in 2005, then, at Alcatel-Lucent, President of the Wireline Business Group in 2006 and President of the Carrier Business Group in 2007.
He holds a Master and a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Louvain as well as an MBA from Boston University.
