REDWOOD CITY, Calif. -- Openwave Mobility, a software innovator enabling operators to manage and monetize growth in mobile data, today announced that the company have surpassed the 300 million subscriber milestone for their standalone Smart User Repository (SUR) Subscriber Data Management (SDM) solution.
Openwave Mobility SUR gives operators high speed and low latency access to subscriber data consolidated into a central repository that can be accessed by any external applications. No other industry solution can match the performance of SUR, which offers over 80,000 read operations per second and 25,000 write operations per second with the smallest hardware footprint in the industry. SUR is also highly scalable – it has been tested for up to 500 million subscribers for millisecond latency – and has continuously operated with 5-9’s efficiency over many years at customer locations.
