Comedy Central transforms the site

Comedy Central has relaunched Jokes.com, transforming it from a home for more than 12,000 text jokes to a repository of text, video, and biographical information for stand-up comedians.
The NHL expands its relationship with Level 3, now using the service provider's CDN for storage, caching, and download services, as well as HD streaming.
The U.K.'s Competition Commission thwarted BBC Worldwide, Channel 4, and ITV's plans for an online video-on-demand service with more than 10,000 hours of content, saying the project, codenamed Project Kangaroo, would restrict competition.
And in today's News Bits, Twitter promises revenue by first quarter 2009.
