This new product is specifically designed to increase the optical amplification power of 980 nm Erbium doped fiber amplifiers (EDFA) by combining two polarized pump laser sources into a single fiber. The 980 nm Polarization Pump Combiner complements the 14xx/1480 nm Polarization Pump Combiner that was introduced earlier this year.
