ITF Optical Technologies launches its All-FiberT 980 nm Polarization Pump Combiner

MONTREAL -- ITF Optical Technologies, a worldwide supplier of state-of-the-art photonic components for next-generation optical networks, announces the release of its ultra-low loss All-FiberT 980 nm Polarization Pump Combiner. This new product is specifically designed to increase the optical amplification power of 980 nm Erbium doped fiber amplifiers (EDFA) by combining two polarized pump laser sources into a single fiber. The 980 nm Polarization Pump Combiner complements the 14xx/1480 nm Polarization Pump Combiner that was introduced earlier this year.
