Intel and telcos left in virtual RAN limbo by rise of AI RAN

Frank the Buffalo is the popular face of Frontier on Facebook and elsewhere, even if his no-BS promise left some customers cold.

Since this is an important telecom business news site, it's important to get the news out there, but sometimes you just want to have fun.
So having written the serious story about Frontier Communications Corp. (NYSE: FTR), it's time to have a little fun. (See Frontier Pursues Broader Business Footprint.)
Meet Frank the Buffalo, also known as the Frontier spokesman.
Figure 1: Frontier's Friendly Frank
Frank has his own Facebook page and his own YouTube videos, which you can see here. His full name is Francis A. Buffalo. (I know that because we are Facebook Friends.)
He isn't as much of a TV presence, in part because Frontier discovered that his early slogan ("You Can't Get BS From A Buffalo") doesn't test well with some of its audience -- I'm assuming those who take themselves a bit too seriously.
But Frank remain a social media presence for Frontier and continues to advance a few important values. For one thing, he's a solidly American symbol. One of his parent company's promises is keeping its customer service onshore and even providing outsourced customer service to companies such as Intuit, keeping those jobs in the US, as well.
And then there's that trust factor. If you can't trust a talking buffalo, then the world is truly a sad place.
