October 13, 2004
BEDFORD, Mass. -- Empirix Inc., the leading provider of integrated testing and management solutions for Web and voice applications and VoIP networks, announced today its move into new, larger headquarters in Bedford, Mass. The move, which will also allow for significant further expansion, was driven by Empirix's recent growth and success across its entire business. This news comes on the heels of several other positive Empirix accomplishments, including:
Achieving strong year-to-date bookings and year-over-year revenue growth exceeding 20 percent, with recent sales to well known companies such as Virgin Mobile, Circles, Vonage and Matsushita/Panasonic;
Landing a seven-figure upgrade sale to a major PC manufacturer for its expanded use of Empirix's OneSight for Web and voice application management worldwide; and
Forming a strategic development partnership with Siebel Systems to jointly provide testing solutions that ensure high performance and scalable integration between Siebel business applications and CTI middleware.
According to Empirix President and CEO Edward Goldfinger, Empirix's momentum has built significantly over the past year. "Our leadership position in the VoIP testing market has allowed our Communications Infrastructure Group to capitalize on a renewed level of investment and deployment on the part of the telecom sector," said Goldfinger. "In our Enterprise Solutions Group, our emphasis on the user experience continues to resonate well with both new and existing customers who are implementing and managing Web and voice applications. We are very encouraged by our progress across the board, which is attributable to the excellent people we have at Empirix."
