ECI Telecom receives new orders totaling over US$ 11 million from Korea Telecom and Korea's largest cellular operator, SKT

PETAH TIKVA, Israel--ECI Telecom Ltd. (NASDAQ/NM symbol: ECIL) announced today additional orders to supply its T::DAX digital cross connect systems to Korea's Incumbent Local Exchange, Korea Telecom (KT), and Korea's largest cellular operator, SKT. Under a new US$ 7 million order, ECI Telecom's T::DAX systems were chosen by Korea Telecom to manage the network infrastructure, while flexibly supporting Korean transmission standards.
SKT awarded a US$4.2 million order for ECI Telecom's T::DAX digital cross connect systems to support its ever-increasing demand for Voice and Data traffic. The deployment of T::DAX systems in SKT's network further demonstrates the suitability of ECI Telecom's bandwidth management solutions for cellular applications. Additionally, ECI Telecom's T::DAX will enable SKT to smoothly migrate to future data-centric 3G (3rd Generation) networks.
