Alexander Muse is killing (1) his email list; and (2) the language.
4:20 PM -- A most interesting note from Alexander Muse, a self-described "entrepreneur and part-time venture capitalist," who sent a note to his email list to say that email lists are dead:
"There is no need to unsubscribe this this email list (this is the last time I will ever use it). Email mailing lists are dead! I have been blogging for a while and I believe that blogs are a far better way to reach out than email based newsletters. My belief is so strong that I have invested in a blog consultancy called Weblogs Work. So if you are interested in keeping up with me just visit my blog or subscribe to my RSS feed.
Grammar, punctuation, and copy editing are also deceased, according to Mr. Muse's writing. Another note of interest, I never subscribed to Muse's email list in the first place. Perhaps I can get him to fax me a few old entries so I can see what I missed.
