LINTHICUM, Md. -- CIENA Corporation (NASDAQ: CIEN), a leading provider of intelligent optical networking systems and software, today announced that release 2.1.1 of its CoreDirector(tm) core switching product has completed the Telcordia(tm) OSMINE Services process for the Telcordia TIRKS®, NMA® and Transport Element Activation Manager systems.Completion of this process helps enable CoreDirector's seamless operation with service providers that have deployed these Telcordia OSSs, such as the U.S.-based incumbent local exchange carriers (ILECs)."The completion of OSMINE satisfies our customers' expectations for interoperability with the Telcordia OSSs.
