ClearPath Networks names Damian Chmelar as VP of sales

LOS ANGELES -- ClearPath Networks, developer of the industry's most compelling set of high-quality, affordable network-based Virtual Private Network (VPN) services, today announced the appointment of Damian Chmelar to the position of Vice President of Sales. In addition to spearheading ClearPath's existing acquisition program, Chmelar, an industry veteran with more than 14 years of technology sales experience, will direct ClearPath's sales operations from the company's New York offices. "Today's companies clearly recognize the benefits of outsourcing many key IT functions, both in terms of reducing costs and improving overall network reliability and performance," said Cliff Young, President and CEO of ClearPath Networks. "As a result, there is tremendous demand for managed network services from businesses throughout the United States. Damian's outstanding background in sales and management, along with his wealth of industry experience, will help us continue to increase our customer base and meet the demands of this fast-paced market." At ClearPath, Chmelar will be responsible for managing overall sales operations as well as developing strategic partnerships. In addition, as part of ClearPath's senior management team, he will lead the company's aggressive acquisition program, which is designed to seek out VPN or network service providers looking for a viable exit strategy that maximizes the value of their assets.
