(AFC®)(Nasdaq: AFCI), an industry-leading designer and manufacturer ofnext-generation edge access equipment and multiservice broadband solutions for the telecommunications industry, today announced the Company has completed its acquisition of privately held AccessLan Communications, Inc. (San Jose, Calif.), a move that creates a technology leader for building next-generation networks."The acquisition of AccessLan is a great fit for our Company, and today'sannouncement completes a strategic move for the future of AFC," said JohnSchofield, chairman, president and CEO of AFC.
