Weiss, and Dr. Mark Shtaif have recently joined the company. Prof. Weiss assumed the position of Chief Scientist, and Dr. Shtaif will serve as technical consultant to the company. Dr. Antony J. Weiss, Professor at Tel Aviv University, with over 25 years experience in advanced signal processing, has published over 100 research papers in the fields of statistical signal processing, lower bounds on performance, efficient optimization algorithms, signal separation and reconstruction and more. Dr. Mark Shtaif, staff member at the Dept. of Physical Electronics, Tel Aviv University, is a former Principal Architect at Celion Networks, Inc. and Principal Technical staff member at AT&T Labs., Lightwave Networks Research Department where he studied and evaluated the effects of PMD and other impairments on the performance of optical links and networks.
