Accelink Wins Interleaver Patent

WIHAN, CHINA -- Leading Chinese fiber optics component supplier Accelink announce that their interleaver which utilizes birefraction and duplex filtering technologies has been awarded a US patent recently. The patent number is US6680719. Accelink’s interleaver integrates birefractive duplex filtering, passive temperature compensation, and phase adjusting technologies. These technologies have been award four patents, including two domestic invention patents, one domestic utility patent and one US invention patent. This is a progress on the intellectual property protection for the Chinese domestic optical component industry, an effort to change the discrimination showed in "US to China: Do You Copy?."

Actually, there are quite a number patents have been filed in the US patent office by Accelink and some other Chinese domestic companies, many of them have published although there are few granted so far. Accelink’s interleaver has achieved the highest international technical specifications. All related Telcordia reliability tests has been passed. It accumulated good reputation for its advanced specification, high stability and reliability from both domestic and oversea customers.
