Keymile's new card for its multiservice access platform MileGate, allows network operators to transport TDM and Ethernet services via SDH

HANOVER, Germany -- KEYMILE's new card for its multi-service access platform MileGate, allows network operators to transport TDM and Ethernet services via SDH. With this addition, MileGate can be flexibly integrated into SDH as well as Ethernet networks and smooth future migration to a fully Ethernet-based network is possible.
KEYMILE is one of the leading manufacturers of Next-Generation data transmission systems. At this year's CeBIT (in hall 12, stand C66) the company will present a new card that gives its MileGate platform access to SDH networks.
SDH is still the standard technology for reliable data transmission in many sections of telecommunications networks, particularly for transport of mission-critical data. The coexistence of SDH in conjunction with other transport technologies, like pure Ethernet, is relevant for the network scenarios of many operators.
