RESTON, Va. -- XO Communications today announced that it is supplying high capacity network services to Availius LLC, a subsidiary of FiberNet Telecom Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: FTGX), a leading provider of complex interconnection services.

Under the terms of the agreement, XO is providing Availius with 2.5 Gbps long haul and metro private line services and other high-speed transport services in multiple markets across the United States. Availius is utilizing XO nationwide long haul and metro network transport services to support its Network Solutions business which provides innovative network connectivity along with ongoing monitoring and management.

“With our Network Solutions business steadily increasing, so is our need for long haul transport services,” said John Dowd, Vice President of Business Development for Availius. “XO has long been one of FiberNet’s reliable providers so it was a natural decision to turn to them for these services,” Dowd continued.
