XO Hires GM for Mickeyland

ORLANDO, Fla. -- XO Communications, Inc, today announced the appointment of Daniel Weber to the position of General Manager for XO in Orlando.

   As General Manager, Weber will oversee the sales and service staff in the region and direct all sales operations. In addition, he will manage the day-to-day activities, ensuring quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.

"Daniel's experience within the telecommunications sector and his overall credibility in the industry are sure to bring a level of service and expertise that will be a great addition to our strong Orlando area presence."

   Weber brings nearly a decade of experience in the telecommunications industry. Prior to joining XO he was the Regional City Director and for KMC Telecom, Inc where he managed all phases of business and was credited with directing the activities in four southern markets that led each to achieve or exceed on all performance measurements. Earlier in his career, he was a Director of Sales for e.spire Communications Inc.'s southern region.

   Weber majored in Business at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama.
