XCome and Huawei launch XLex, a bilingual English-Chinese dictionary application preloaded on the Huawei U526 for the Taiwanese market

TAIPEI -- XCome Technology, and Huawei Technologies today announced the start of a new partnership with the launch of XLex, XCome’s bilingual English-Chinese dictionary application, preloaded on the Huawei U526 for the Taiwan market.

XCome Technology, a global leading application innovator for mobile carriers and handset manufacturers in the wireless world and Huawei Technologies, a world renowned leader in next generation wireless products and solutions, will look to drive a high quality wireless experience for Taiwan’s customers.

“With the mobile device moving more and more into the center of people’s lives, we want people having access to the best wireless products and services that are available,” says a delighted Maggie Lee, XCome’s sales executive, who played an essential role in the materialization of this deal. “XCome’s mobile learning solution is one of these services and we want to enable as many mobile customers as possible to take advantage of it.”

This deal is another example of XCome’s effort to bring together different players of the mobile industry as it includes the Taiwanese operator Chunghwa Telecom. The Huawei U526 will be exclusively promoted by Chunghwa Telecom and at the same time allows users to connect directly to XLexWeb. Via the WAP function on the Huawei U526, users can connect to XLexWeb which is powered in cooperation by XCome and Chunghwa Telecom.
