SAN DIEGO -- Viper Networks Inc. (OTCBB:VPER) announced today the company has formed a wholly-owned subsidiary, NextPhase Technologies Inc., a California corporation, to allow Viper to further its focus on mergers, acquisitions and investments in other complementary technology companies. NextPhase Technologies will be headed up by Viper's current Chief Technical Officer and President, James Wray, and will continue to market Viper's existing products and services, including VIPER CONNECT and its highly anticipated "RealPerson" software. "This is a tremendous opportunity for Viper", stated John Castiglione, Viper Network's chief executive officer. "We are in a good position to acquire and invest in several other complementary technology companies in today's economic climate. The formation of NextPhase Technologies allows us to continue identifying and completing existing acquisitions in addition to increasing sales and marketing efforts for the company's core products and services," he concluded. Viper Networks hopes to acquire interests in companies with viable, cutting-edge technology products and services that have real value for the end user. Viper's current acquisition and investment committee, led by Dan Lieberman and Jason Sunstein, the company's V.P. finance, are excited to accelerate this focus.
