Comcast Spotlight Hires Chief Revenue Officer

Brendan Condon to head up ad unit's sales revenue activity across all lines of business.

NEW YORK – Comcast Spotlight, the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable, named Brendan Condon as chief revenue officer, effective Oct. 1. In this role, Condon will be responsible for Comcast Spotlight’s sales revenue, execution and effectiveness across all lines of business. He will lead the company’s salesforce and its processes, with a strategic focus on customer experience and account management to drive revenue growth and exceed its targets. Condon will be based in Comcast Spotlight’s New York headquarters.

Condon is a 30-year global media veteran specializing in multi-platform sales, with a strong blend of linear, digital video, mobile and addressable advertising experience.

Previously, Condon served as president of AdMore, an audience-based programmatic television advertising platform, and REVShare, one of the nation’s largest short-form direct-response providers, at Cannella Media. Prior to this role, Brendan was the chief executive officer of Media Properties Holdings, which was part of The Carlyle Group prior to its sale to Cannella Media.

Prior to Media Property Holdings, Condon held senior advertising leadership roles domestically and internationally with AOL and Time Warner Inc. In addition, Condon has extensive background in finance, operations, mergers and acquisitions.
