TeraXion Appoints Sales Director

QUEBEC CITY -- TeraXion, a technology leader in the development of advanced optical components for high-speed communications networks, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jim Simon as Director, International Sales of the Company. Mr. Simon will be based in Atlanta, Georgia.

Mr. Simon holds a Degree in Business Administration and has evolved in the industry of optical components for nearly 20 years. He has developed high-level competencies in technical environments focusing on national and international sales/marketing positions within the field of information technologies and communications.

“Mr. Simon’s challenge will be to continue to open markets and sales channels for us. His strong expertise will contribute to position TeraXion as a world-class leader in fiber optics filtering and sensing solutions”, said Erick Pelletier, Vice-president, Sales and Marketing of TeraXion.

Mr. Simon and Jim Simon & Co. officially joined TeraXion on October 4, 2004.
