ADVA Optical Networking chooses IBM Global Services to support North American users of ADVA's Fiber Service Platform

MARTINSRIED/MUNICH, Germany and RAMSEY, N.J. -- ADVA Optical Networking (German Neuer Markt: ADV), a global provider of optical networking solutions, today announced it has selected IBM Global Services to deliver world-class service and support to ADVA's end user customers in North America. Under the terms of the agreement, IBM Global Services will provide Level 1 and Level 2 support in North America for ADVA's Fiber Service Platform (FSP) portfolio, including on-site service. This forms a part of the 'FSP Rapid Response' 24/7 on-site service and support offering for end user customers deploying ADVA's platforms. ADVA's carrier-class FSP portfolio is comprised of the FSP 500, FSP 1000, FSP 2000 and FSP 3000, and is complemented by the FSP Integrated Network Management Suite. ADVA solutions have been deployed globally at over 50 service providers and over 500 enterprises.
