Lothar Pauly resigns from Deutsche Telekom AG's board of management

BONN, Germany -- Lothar Pauly, the Member of Deutsche Telekom's Board of Management in charge of system business, production, IT and central procurement, today requested that the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Telekom relieve him of his duties. The General Committee of the Supervisory Board recommended that the Supervisory Board comply with Lothar Pauly's request. Pauly will leave the company by full mutual agreement. CFO Dr. Karl-Gerhard Eick will temporarily assume responsibility for Mr. Pauly's tasks.
