IP Unity Glenayre Unveiled

MILPITAS, Calif. and ATLANTA -- IP Unity Glenayre, the new leader in delivering carrier-grade messaging and multimedia solutions over IP, TDM and enterprise networks, announced today that the IP Unity acquisition of Glenayre Messaging from Glenayre Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq:GEMS - News) is now final, completing the transaction announced on December 14, 2006.

The newly consolidated company serves a diverse global customer base of over 2000 deployments covering 300 wireline telco, cable, wireless and FMC service providers, as well as large enterprises and public agencies. The company delivers a strong portfolio of rich media services, and supports an unrivaled breadth of advanced applications for IMS enabled and other carrier grade environments.
