OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- Sprint (NYSE: FON, PCS) today announced that it will continue its relationship with The Relizon Company for another four years. Relizon has chosen to use state-of-the-art Sprint products including Virtual Private Network (VPN), Internet Protocol (IP), frame relay, toll-free long distance and Foncards. The new communications services agreement is valued at $4 million.

Relizon will use VPN, frame relay and IP services to connect their 100+ facilities nationwide. These services provide 24-hour network access and high- speed data transmission, which allows Relizon to connect to its networks at faster and more efficient speeds. With Sprint Foncards, Relizon employees can connect to colleagues and voicemail easily and efficiently as they travel to visit with customers.

"Relizon is a company that's driven to provide exceptional service to our customers, and we depend on Sprint's networks to help deliver that service," said Brad Thompson, director of information technology, Relizon. "They've done a good job for us over the past two years, and we look forward to continued high quality."

Sprint is committed to delivering integrated communication solutions that help manufacturers address their needs for cost management, connectivity and operational efficiency. Sprint was recognized for its leadership in serving the manufacturing industry earlier this year when it was presented the 2002 Market Engineering Leadership Award for the Manufacturing Vertical from Frost & Sullivan, a leading growth consulting firm.

"Relizon has chosen to use some of our top services and the company will see positive results with this continued commitment," said Stephen Rowley, vice president, Sprint Business-Central. "Relizon and Sprint both recognize the importance of the customer and have chosen to work together in order to best satisfy the needs of those customers. Our industry-leading service level agreements provide Relizon with the assurance that we are working as best as we can to satisfy their needs as well. We are pleased to continue serving this company."
