PD-LD Names Marketing Director

PENNINGTON, N.J. -- PD-LD, Inc. traditionally known for developing and manufacturing various types of fiber-coupled optical components in standard and custom packages, has just introduced Volume Bragg Grating technology for coupling up to four wavelengths onto a single fiber with extremely low loss and high isolation. With the introduction of this new technology, PD-LD announces the appointment of Ed McIntyre as Director of Marketing. "Ed comes to PD-LD with a tremendous amount of experience which we will use to quickly identify new VBG products in a variety of market sectors, allowing us to become more diversified in this difficult economy", says Vladimir Ban, President and CEO at PD-LD.
