Baynet Boss to Address NFOEC

BALTIMORE – NFOEC – Dr. Allen Miao, CEO and president, of Baynet Optics has been selected to speak on the "All-Optical Networking: Realities and Challenges" panel at the National Fiber Optic Engineers Conference (NFOEC). Dr. Miao will discuss the future of optical components and their role in the all-optical network. Dr. Miao will address the conference on Thursday, July 12th at 10:10 a.m. NFOEC is a forum for discussions on the telecommunications industry and is sponsored by Telcordia Technologies. This year the show is being held at the Baltimore Convention Center where over 350 companies are exhibiting, including Baynet Optics. Dr. Miao brings over 14 years experience to Baynet Optics in the areas of product development, planning, managing, and technical supervision of optical design, fabrication, testing, and transfer for various optic groups. Prior to founding Baynet Optics, Dr. Miao worked in management positions at Quantum Corporation, Photon Dynamics, and KLA-Tencor Corporation. Dr. Miao holds a B.S. in Electrophysics from the National Chiao-Tung University in Hsin-Chu, Taiwan. He also holds a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque and a Ph.D. in Optical Sciences from the University of Arizona.Baynet Optics
