FREMONT, Calif. -- Enablence Technologies, Inc. ("Enablence" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:ENA), a leading supplier of optical components and subsystems for access, metro and long-haul markets, is well positioned to supply critical optical components and subsystems for high-speed long-haul and metro networks. Enablence will display products and technologies during OFC/NFOEC 2013 in Anaheim, CA March 19-21 at Booth #3605. Enablence has started commercial delivery of 8x10G DWDM Transmitter Optical Sub-Assembly (TOSA) and Receiver Optical Sub-Assembly (ROSA) designed for standard CFP packaging. These TOSA/ROSA modules are specialized for metro and long-haul applications. Similar 10x10G TOSA/ROSA are in development and scheduled for release in April 2013. Enablence is now sampling OIF compliant receiver modules for coherent 100G PDM-QPSK systems. These Nx10G TOSA/ROSA and 100G coherent PIC (photonic integrated circuits) products leverage Enablence' proprietary low-loss silica-on-silicon planar lightwave circuit (PLC) technology and its automated capability to hybridly integrate active components. These technologies result in compact high-performance components that can be efficiently scaled into commercial production. In the ROADM space, Enablence's 8x8 and 8x16 multicast switch modules are being used by multiple tier-1 telecom systems suppliers for routing WDM signals. The multicast switch is a key element for next generation CDC ROADM (colorless, directionless, and contentionless reconfigurable optical add/drop multiplexer). It is fabricated using a mass-reproducible polymer PLC platform. Enablence Ships Into 100G & ROADMs
