ECOC Registration Soars

KENT, U.K. -- Next month’s ECOC (European Conference on Optical Communications) Exhibition, is already set to be smashing record highs, with visitor registrations already up by 42%, exhibition stand bookings on the increase and a speaker line-up for the Market Focus resembling a “who’s who” of the industry.

The three days of the Market Focus have been divided into three main topic areas – Optical Integration and Digital Photonics, Optical Network Advances and Service Providers and Networks. Companies and organisations represented include Google, Oclaro, NEC Corporation, Ciena, Ovum, Infinera, Vodafone, Alcatel-Lucent, JDSU, the FTTH Council and many more.

Speakers include Mike Short, former head of BT and President of the IET, Yves LeMaitre, COO of Oclaro, Jorg-Peter Elbers, Director at ADVA and Atul Srivastava, CTO at NTT Electronics America.
