Utilizing OFS' Midia(R) FX small diameter loose tube cable and CBS' Breeze blowing machine they will demonstrate a cost effective solution for installing cable in the metro route. The Midia FX' cable's low cable weight and diameter are optimal for metro installation with CBS' Breeze blowing equipment. The Breeze equipment is powerful enough to install such small diameter cables up to distances of 2 km, without shredding the outer sheath of the cable or buckling the fibers.
