MINNEAPOLIS -- ADC (Nasdaq:ADCT, www.adc.com) announced today that NTS Communications has successfully deployed the ADC OmniReach(TM) Fiber-to-the-Premises (FTTP) Infrastructure Solutions. The Texas-based competitive local exchange carrier (CLEC) provides voice, video and Internet services to residential and business customers in Lubbock and Wollforth using its highly reliable advanced fiber network.

"The design of the OmniReach solutions really set it apart from others," said Vince Smith, outside plant engineer for NTS Communications. "The way cables are managed, the easy access to fibers, the physical protection of cables--it was clear that all aspects of the solution were made to work together. We're able to quickly deliver reliable service to our customers because the ADC equipment is so easy for our technicians to install and maintain."

OmniReach FTTP Infrastructure Solutions offer telecommunications service providers flexibility in managing their FTTP equipment, including the expensive central office-based electronics, used to transmit the signals to individual homes. This ability to optimize the infrastructure enables service providers to leverage their investment and quickly generate revenue. The family of OmniReach FTTP products includes Fiber Distribution Terminals, Fiber Access Terminals, Passive Optical Splitter Modules, and Wavelength Division Multiplexer Modules.

"With the proper fiber infrastructure in place, service providers can scale the network to more homes or businesses as needed and generate revenues more efficiently and quickly," said Tom Kampf, director of fiber infrastructure for ADC. "ADC's OmniReach FTTP equipment will stand the test of time, reliably delivering services available to subscribers today, as well as the next generation services offered in years to come."
